Whether you are an avid trekker or a nature lover, the Mardi Himal Trek 5 Days promises an experience filled with spectacular panoramas, peaceful trails, and authentic Nepali hospitality.
Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Pokhara to Dhampus village at 1,800 meters. From Dhampus, you start trekking along gently sloping trails that pass through traditional Gurung villages, terraced fields, and lush forests. Enjoy panoramic views of the Annapurna mountain range as you make your way to Deurali at 2,100 meters. The trek today takes approximately 3–4 hours, allowing time to settle in and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Overnight stay is at Deurali.
Today you trek from Deurali to the Forest Camp, also known as Low Camp, situated at 2,600 meters. The trail winds through dense rhododendron and pine forests, offering glimpses of distant snow-capped peaks. The pace is moderate, giving you time to enjoy the natural surroundings and take photos. Depending on weather conditions, the overnight stay may be at Forest Camp or Low Camp. Trekking duration is approximately 5–6 hours.
On day three, you ascend from Forest Camp to High Camp at 3,500 meters. The trail becomes steeper as you climb higher, passing through alpine landscapes and open ridges. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of Annapurna South, Machapuchare (Fishtail), and Hiunchuli. The trek is moderately challenging, taking 6–7 hours, but the scenery and fresh mountain air make it incredibly rewarding. Overnight stay is at High Camp.
Begin early in the morning with a trek from High Camp to the Mardi Himal Viewpoint at 4,200 meters. From this vantage point, witness a stunning 360-degree panorama of the Annapurna range, Machapuchare, and surrounding Himalayan peaks. After enjoying the sunrise and capturing memorable photos, descend back along the same trail to High Camp and continue down to Low Camp. Trekking today takes approximately 5–6 hours. Overnight stay is at Low Camp.
On the final day, trek from Low Camp to Siding or Kalimati via Lumre, enjoying scenic waterfalls, streams, and forested trails. This section of the trek is relatively easy, taking about 3 hours. After completing the trek, board a vehicle for a 1.5-hour drive back to Pokhara, marking the end of your Mardi Himal adventure.
