Starting from the beautiful lake city of Pokhara, the trip begins with a scenic drive to Jhinu Danda. From here, the trekking adventure gradually ascends through terraced fields, bamboo forests, and rhododendron trails toward Sinuwa and Deurali. Along the way, trekkers experience authentic mountain life and warm hospitality at local teahouses.

The highlight of the trek is reaching Annapurna Base Camp at an altitude of 4,130 meters. From the base camp, you are surrounded by a stunning panorama of Himalayan peaks including Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Hiunchuli, and Annapurna South. Watching sunrise and sunset over these snow-capped mountains is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

After enjoying the magical atmosphere of the base camp, the trail descends through Bamboo and back to Jhinu, where you can relax in the natural hot springs before driving back to Pokhara.

This trek is considered moderate in difficulty and is suitable for trekkers with good physical fitness. Walking hours range from 4 to 6 hours per day through varied terrain with gradual altitude gain.

Our journey begins with a scenic 2.5-hour jeep drive from Pokhara to Jhinu Danda, passing through beautiful countryside, rivers, and terraced fields. After reaching Jhinu, the trek officially starts.

You will cross suspension bridges over the Modi Khola and gradually ascend through stone staircases and lush forests. The trail passes through Chhomrong village, offering stunning views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail).

After 4–5 hours of trekking, you reach Sinuwa, a peaceful village surrounded by green hills and forest.

After breakfast, the trail continues through dense bamboo and rhododendron forests. The path gradually ascends toward the Himalayas, crossing small streams and enjoying peaceful natural surroundings.

You pass through Bamboo and Dovan before reaching Deurali. The landscape slowly changes into alpine terrain as you gain altitude. Mountain views become closer and more dramatic.

Today is the most exciting and rewarding day of the trek. The trail climbs through the narrow valley known as the Annapurna Sanctuary.

You first reach Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC), where spectacular mountain views surround you. Continuing further, you arrive at Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 m), standing in the heart of the Himalayas.

From the base camp, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre. The sunset and sunrise views here are truly unforgettable.

Wake up early to witness a magical sunrise over the Himalayan peaks. After breakfast, begin descending from the base camp.

The downhill trail passes through MBC, Deurali, Dovan, and Bamboo. Walking downhill is easier but long, so steady pacing is important. You will spend the night in Bamboo surrounded by forest.

After breakfast, continue descending toward Jhinu Danda. You may relax at the natural hot springs near the river (optional) to soothe tired muscles.
