Depart Kathmandu by shared jeep. Drive through scenic countryside to Sallari. Overnight in lodge.

Altitude: 1,200m

Continue by jeep to Surke, the trailhead near Lukla. Overnight in local lodge.

Altitude: 2300m

Begin trek along the Dudh Koshi River, pass small villages and forests. Overnight in Monjo.

Altitude: 2,780m

Enter Sagarmatha National Park. Gradual ascent to Namche, the Sherpa capital. Overnight in Namche.

Altitude: 3,440m

Optional short hikes to viewpoints for acclimatization. Explore local markets and culture.

Altitude: 3,440m

Trek through pine and rhododendron forests. Visit Tengboche Monastery. Stunning mountain views.

Altitude: 3,890m

Trek through scenic rhododendron forests and small Sherpa villages. Overnight in Dingboche.

Altitude: 4,350m

Short hikes to Nangkartshang Peak or Chhukung Valley for altitude adjustment. Prepare for higher elevation.

Trek along rocky paths, panoramic views of Pumori, Nuptse, and other peaks. Overnight in Lobuche.

Altitude: 4920m

Reach Gorak Shep, then hike to Everest Base Camp. Explore EBC and return to Gorak Shep for overnight.

Sunrise hike to Kala Patthar for panoramic Everest views. Descend to Pangboche or Pheriche.

Descend gradually back to Namche Bazar. Alternative route via Phortse possible. Overnight in Namche.

Altitude: 3,940 → 3,440m

Trek back through forests and villages to Lukla. Overnight in Lukla.

Altitude: 3,440 → 2,880m

Domestic flight from Lukla to Kathmandu.

Altitude: 1,400m
